FAQs
What can I expect from this newsletter?
The mission of this newsletter is simple: create the #1 free business growth resource for bootstrapped business owners, founders, and CEOs based on the actual, in-the-trenches tactics and strategies we “accidentally” stumble into while running and scaling real businesses.
And here’s the question we ask to make sure we’re fulfilling that mission:
“Could I use this tip to generate at least $10,000 in new sales, or capture at least $10,000 in immediate profit, or save at least 10 hours a week through better systems?”
If the answer is “Yes,” we send it.
If the answer is “No,” we try again.
Each issue is designed to be consumed in 2 minutes or less, and since each one contains a tip or tactic that could easily add $10,000 to your revenue and/or profit, it’s always worth a quick skim.
Who's behind this newsletter?
Hi, I'm Ryan Deiss. My partners and I have started or acquired 17 companies, exited 7, and advised literally thousands of other entrepreneurs.
Every week I send an email memo to my portfolio company CEOs (the people actually running my businesses) sharing tips and tactics, and frameworks to help them overcome their biggest business challenges. Sometimes it's a tool, sometimes it's a framework, sometimes it's just a hard-learned lesson from the trenches, but it's always something timely, tactical, and actionable.
Now, you can get the same memo...and you don't even have to sell us your company. 🙂
What the heck is an "Accidental Entrepreneur?"
Accidental entrepreneurs don’t have formal business training.
We are inventors… We are creators… We are scratchers of our own itch…
Most of us didn’t even set out to build a business. We simply saw a need and filled it, and we were as shocked as anyone when our little “side project” turned into a “real business.”
In short, "Accidental Entrepreneurs" are successful business owners who have no idea what they're doing and are willing to admit it. And they just happen to be our favorite people on planet Earth. :)
When do new newsletter issues drop?
Every Sunday...just before the week gets started and your inbox starts filling up with everyone else's demands.
